Getting the Facelift Florida and Tampa Clinics Offer

Posted by Teguh - - 2 comments

An individual's life can change over time—and so can his face. Some can gracefully accept the fact that everyone will age, while others find it hard to. However, they recognize that there are many ways to look good even if they age, one of which is getting the facelift services Florida and Tampa clinics offer.

This procedure has many advantages. One is that it repairs loose and sagging skin. This cosmetic procedure carefully trims excess skin and pulls loose and sagging skin to restore a youthful appearance. Although there is a risk of the process being overdone, cosmetic surgeons can produce satisfying results by also configuring underlying facial structures.

Facelift can also tighten facial muscles. Before, the facelift procedure focuses only in tightening facial skin. Nowadays, this can configure underlying facial structures. In particular, such versions rearrange the connective tissues, layers of fat, and muscles involved in the Submuscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS). Modern cosmetic surgeons first organize the said components of the SMAS before tightening the facial skin, thereby placing lesser tension on the skin and making the facelift last longer.

The facelift Florida and Tampa clinics offer also improves a person's facial contour. Perhaps this is the most acclaimed benefit of the facelift, since a lower lift smoothens the neck, eliminates jowls, and restores the contour of the jaw line. Conversely, a mid lift restores the youthful look to the cheeks and lower eyelids. Interestingly, facial liposuction works well with a facelift to improve the appearance of other neck and facial areas that sag with age.

In addition to its tangible benefits, the facelift Florida and Tampa clinics offer boosts people's self-esteem. The physical appearance of an individual affects the way he sees himself and interacts with other people. As such, the procedure enables people to see themselves as more youthful and beautiful persons. This boost in self-esteem also helps people to better appreciate themselves and become more confident.

With all the benefits of the facelift Tampa and Florida clinics offer, it can be said that the procedure undoubtedly enables people to enjoy the time they have. People need not be afraid of aging. Accept aging as a blessing and sign of growth, and gracefully face your days with the help of a facelift.

With a wide variety of things to do, this place has museums, memorials, dormant volcano, Waikiki Aquarium, Queen Kapiolani Park and many more places to explore. With a remarkable history and diverse culture, Honolulu has attractions like no other place in the world.

Some of the must visit spots in Honolulu are –

Waikiki Beach

Running along the southern shore of the O'ahu Island, Waikiki Beach is one of the most popular beaches of the Hawaiian Islands. It is a world famous surfing spot, with a huge portion of the beach being marked for surfers. The key attraction of Waikiki Beach surfing is its long rolling break. It makes it an ideal spot for beginners, apart from surfers fond of long boarding and tandem surfing. The beach is also home to places like Kuhio Beach Park, Ala Wai Harbor, Kapiolani Park and Kahanamoku Lagoon.

Waikiki Aquarium

Located adjacent to the living coral reef along the Waikiki shoreline, this marine aquarium flaunts more than 3,000 organisms representing around 500 species of marine flora and fauna. The aquarium also takes pride in being the third oldest public aquarium in the entire USA. It will be interesting for you to note that the aquarium was designated a Coastal Ecosystem Learning Center. It witnesses more than 400,000 footfalls every year, which reflects its status as a landmark tourist destination in Honolulu.

USS Arizona Memorial
Located at Pearl Harbor, the Memorial marks a notable historical legacy of this spot. The spot where the Memorial stands as the final resting place of a huge number of brave US sailors of USS Arizona, who espoused martyrdom after their ship was drowned during the infamous Pearl Harbor Attack by Japan. Highly popular among tourists, the Memorial is visited by more than one million people every year. Tourists visit the spot traveling in a boat, which crosses above the sunken hull of the hapless battleship without touching it.

Aloha Tower

A gorgeous lighthouse, Aloha Tower is housed at Pier 9 of Honolulu Harbor (a.k.a. Kulolia and Ke Awa O Kou), Honolulu's main seaport. Once the tallest structure in the entire Hawaii, the Tower was famous for the Hawaii Maritime Center located in an old royal pier near it. Hawaii Maritime Center was the principal maritime museum in the entire Hawaii Islands, and was naturally a huge center of attraction.

Bishop Museum (Bernice P. Bishop Museum)

The largest museum in Hawaii, this museum of History and Science takes pride in being the world's largest storehouse of Polynesian cultural and scientific artifacts. It also boasts of a huge entomological collection of more than 13.5 million specimens, which happens to be the third largest of such collection in the USA. He set up this museum in memory of his beloved wife Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last scion of the former ruling family of Hawaii.

Diamond Head

A part of what geologists call Honolulu Volcanic Series, Diamond Head is a volcanic tuff cone that enjoys the status of a United States State Monument, apart from being a popular hiking destination flocked by hiking enthusiasts both from within and outside Honolulu. The hiking expedition ends inside a coastal artillery observation platform. From the summit above this observation platform, you can have a breathtaking view of the surroundings, including that of the Pacific Ocean.

Honolulu Zoo

Located in the Queen Kapiolani Park, this zoo covers an area of 42 acres, playing home to more than 1,000 animals roaming around specially designed habitats. The species of animals in the zoo include even the ones which are completely foreign to Honolulu or Hawaii such as elephant, rhino, lion, giraffe and camel. Some of the other species that the zoo flaunts are llama, hedgehog, red-footed tortoise, pot-bellied pig, chimpanzee, sun bear, etc. It also has a rich collection of birds and reptiles. The popularity of the zoo can be gauged from the fact that it witnesses over 600,000 footfalls in a year.

National Memorial Cemetery of The Pacific

A place with a great emotional appeal, this cemetery located in Punchbowl Crater serves as a memorial to those valiant people who devoted their lives to the service of the United States Armed Forces. Thousands of people visit the place every year to pay their homage to the immortal souls of these great patriots. You will love to know that Honolulu offers a variety of transportation services, helping you to comfortably travel around the place. A good idea for you will be to book a limousine service from the Honolulu Airport itself. In fact, most of the tourists find it convenient, and prefer to travel around by arranging in advance for a limo Honolulu can be best enjoyed if one books a luxurious limo.

Temple touring in Angkor – Where to go and what to see?

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

When you think of Cambodia, what immediately comes to mind? We'll help you out. For many Angkor Wat immediately springs into one's head. Why? Well, there isn't a structure in the world quite like it. It is massive, it is hundreds of years old and it represents the great and grand Khmer Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations. But Angkor Wat is just one temple out of many in the area. In fact, Angkor Archeological Park, a UNESCO Heritage Site, is nothing more than a ruin temple paradise. If you're looking to absorb history, view ancient structures and warm yourself up to Cambodian history, you've come to the right place. We'll give you the lowdown on the temples you should be visiting.

Angkor Wat:

This is a no-brainer. Angkor Wat is the site's main attraction. It is perhaps one of the, if not, the largest religious building in the world. But it is more than just a temple. It reflects classic Khmer architecture, incorporating elements of the Hindu temple mountain design (representing Mount Meru), depictions of South Indian architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs carvings and for the guardian spirits adorning the walls. To maximize your viewing experience, we suggest watching the sunrise over the structure. If that is not your cup of tea, then a 1 or 2 pm viewing comes next. A sunset viewing also works too.

Ta Keo:

What if a temple is incomplete? What would it look like? Enter Ta Keo. The structure's exterior lacks designs and carvings, unlike many of its counterparts in Angkor. This is also what a Cambodian step pyramid structure would like.

Ta Phrom:

Ever wonder what an explorer re-discovering a lost ancient temple would feel like when he comes across it for the first time? Perhaps Ta Phrom comes closest to replicating that feeling. Any Lara Croft or Indian Jones would be impressed by this. Figs, trees, forests; they've all reclaimed the temple and have practically covered it in nature. This gives it the mystical nature the temple is renowned for. And it is quite photogenic too.

Terrace of the Elephants:

Stand at the site where the once great Khemr King watched his returning army after a victorious escapade. The site is so called because of the elephant carvings on its eastern side.

Terrace of the Leper King:

It is certainly interesting to discover the names of certain places. That certainly rings true here. The naming of the site is from a 15th century statue depicting the Hindu god Yama. Discoloration and the growing of moss on the statue's limbs looked like a person suffering leprosy. Plus, the site is connected to a legend about an Angkorian king who also suffered from the disease.

Preah Khan:

Not in the spotlight as much when compared to Ta Phrom, but it is quite similar – the temple has been left largely unrestored. Some may see it in a state of disrepair even. But that shouldn't steer you away from it. In fact, the site boasts a low visitor count, which should give you the freedom to wander around and admire the excellent stone carvings and almost eerily quiet ambiance.

Bayon:

Bayon; what is it known for? Perhaps you've seen those pictures of giant, half smiling stone faces. This is where they are. In fact, there are 216 of them, contained in 54 towers and carved on each side. Who is this guy? Or perhaps it is two guys in one? Some say it is a combination of King Jayavarman VII and Buddha. Also inside are two impressive sets of bas-reliefs. Whatever the case, step into an impressive Angkor temple built solely with Buddhism in mind.

Roluos Group:

Just a little more than 10 kilometers east of Siem Reap are the Roluos temples. It is not quite an Angkorian temple mainly because it predates them. There are three temples of interest here: Bakong (a five terraced pyramid mountain teple structure), Lolei (an island temple) and Preah Ko (the first of the group to be built).

Kbal Spean:

Not quite a temple, but more of a hybrid archaeological/nature site. Here, the carvings are embedded into sandstone formations in the river bed and banks. Also in the premise is a small yet attractive and refreshing waterfall. Be careful. Because of the wet nature of the site, you may find the floor slippery.

Banteay Srey:

Size sometimes doesn't matter. Banteay Srey may be one of the smallest temples you'll see on the tour, but that might not mean anything because this is also one of the most unique. It is built of red sandstone, giving it a distinctive red/pink hue. This also makes the bas reliefs and carving more intricate. You may want to reserve this temple for later, as it is some 25 or so kilometers away from the main group in Angkor.

Believe it or not, these are just some of the many other temples that exisit within Angkor Archeological Park. Now you can see why a visit here can be quite complex. Where to go? What to see? This quick guide should give you an idea about the temples in and even around Angkor.

If temples are your thing and Siem Reap is the place you want to go, then our Angkor Discovery tour is the program for you. We also have a saying here, that Cambodia is more than just about temples. Take a look at our tours here and be inspired to discover a varied country filled with fascinating people, history, natural landscapes and beaches.

Favourite Holiday Spots for Foodies

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

It seems like everyone is a foodie these days. Globalisation has exposed more and more people to a wide variety of different cuisines and flavours. This has inspired a whole generation to pursue great food on a daily basis – this generation has also caught the travel bug and people are roaming far and wide throughout their lives. The combination of these two factors has made gastronomic tourism a big deal. If you are into this here are three destinations that are great to visit, if only for the food.

Italy is a truly spectacular place to eat, thanks to the country's inhabitant's obsession with great ingredients. Indeed, ask an Italian what makes a dish so special and they will focus on the home-grown tomatoes, and fresh basil rather than the recipe itself. If you are lucky enough to visit the country you will get to try impeccable pasta, pizza and fish every single day. Also be sure to accompany your meals with some coffee as there is nothing quite like sipping on an Italian espresso.

Toronto will surprise a lot of people as the city does not have a reputation as a culinary giant, and Canadian cuisine is by no means famous. Yet Toronto is amongst the most multi-cultural cities on Earth and this has given it a stunning array of restaurants which encompass the globe's cuisine. If you want picture perfect dim sum you can head to Chinatown, while great pizzas are served up in Little Italy. Korean restaurants abound in the suburbs, while Ethiopian can be tracked down easily. Finish off with some Portuguese chicken and you will have toured the whole world in just a few city blocks.

Finally, lovers of true indulgence should visit Paris. This will come as no surprise to anyone as the city towers over the culinary world. Michelin star restaurants are everywhere, and there is a great dedication to fine dining. Steak frites, mussels, fish and other French delicacies can be found everywhere in the city's innumerable fine restaurants. Be warned this city can be expensive, and if you head to the fancier restaurants you will end up leaving a fair bit of cash behind.

Thanks to the availability of cheap flights it is now possible to head off to these locations just to try the food. So don't hesitate, click here to check out holidays to Italy, or do some internet searching to find deals to Toronto or Paris. There is a world of great restaurants out there, so get exploring.

The Best Ways to Explore Europe

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

Europe is an amazing place to visit for tourists. It has incredible cities, stunning paradise islands in the Mediterranean and lovely countryside. It is also quite a small area, so it is possible to see a lot of it in a short period of time. Here are some tips on how to get around on the continent.

Europe is the best place for travelling by air. There are numerous companies which offer cut-rate flights to popular holiday destinations. The service offered is by no means palatial and it feels a bit like being on a bus, but the fares are truly cheap. Indeed, some companies have even offered flights for the cost of a cup of coffee. This makes it incredibly easy to criss-cross the continent in a series of flights. In just a few hours you can hop from London to Prague, Majorca or Greece.

Europe also has a fantastic system of trains. This is a very popular way to explore the continent at a slightly slower pace. The cost of trains is by no means cheap, yet it is a very comfortable way to go. The system is also incredibly well set up so it is stress free. Many younger travellers opt for this mode of transport, so if you want to get out there and meet new people this might be the way for you.

Alternatively you can rent a car and take to the road yourself. Highways connect all the major countries and you can embark on an epic road trip to really see it all. This is certainly the slowest way to travel, but it can be the most rewarding as you will get to visit little out of the way villages as well as the more famous sights. Driving in Europe is generally quite easy, but you should be careful in Germany were people drive at incredible speed and in Italy where overtaking is done with a maximum level of aggressiveness. Fuel is also quite expensive, so it might not be the cheapest option.

With such a beautiful continent, it would be a shame if it were hard to access. Luckily this is not the case and it couldn't be easier getting around Europe. You just need to choose your preferred mode of transport and then go forth. Flights offer savings and speed, cars take the scenic route and trains are ultra-convenient. Click here to sort out your budget airfares, or do some searching for car rentals and train packages. Sorting out your transport around Europe couldn't be easier.

Going to the Breck for the Summer

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

Though some are proclaiming the end of the holiday season, the hot eighth month of the year is actually the peak season. So, now is the time to consider going for some Breckenridge  vacation rentals. When the hot weather hits, the first thing people think of doing is heading for the coasts as soon as it's humanly possible. But those who put a little more thought into the issue of how they'll spend their summer days -- before blindly following every primordial instinct that surfaces -- will consider the opportunities that skipping the coast and heading for the country's center, for a change, can open up.

These are usually the same folks that know that it's never too early to start looking for deals on vacation  rentals in Breckenridge, Colorado. Here, at this centrally located vacation spot, one will find bike trails whose vistas fill the soul, of even the most hardened of mountain biking enthusiasts, with utter wonderment. Such is the sublime beauty to be found throughout. Frommer's Colorado officially states that in the area there's more than forty miles of ever so helpfully paved bikeways -- that means it's possible to pedal your way from Breckenridge all the way to the town of Frisco. Distance to travel: 9.5 miles, approximately.

But whether you're looking to find new routes for you and your bike, or some unusual flowers to add to your growing collection, say, in the style of hometown hero, Erwin Carter, something to keep you well-rested after your diurnal outdoor forays will be necessary: a place to rest your bones for the night. The area receives many visitors each year and Colorado  condo rentals are consequently in high demand. Still, look early and you're bound to find a condo at a price that sits comfortably within your holiday budget.

Among all the things to do in an alpine setting when the snowpack is heading down the rivers en masse, no one could entirely forget about one of the greatest and most exiting pleasures of Colorado  vacations: whitewater rafting. When traveling family-style, with a large brood of little ones in tow, the Lakota River is always ready to provide an extraordinary escapade for the young ones. Of course, if the sturdy tikes prefer a slightly drier activity, there's always a fantastic hiking trail that's only a hop and a skip away.

New Zealand Adventures - North or South Island

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

This question is often posed on travel forums by people planning a New Zealand trip with limited time. Of course, the first reply is to make time for both. The North and South islands are very different from each other in character and landscape. To get a true feeling for the country, three weeks allows time to enjoy the diverse scenery, activities and culture of both islands. However, if you only have a week to ten days, here are some things to consider in making your choice:

Scenic Features

The scenic highlights of the North Island are its beaches and its volcanic landscape. The South Island is a showcase for alpine scenery, waterfalls and primordial forest.

The rugged, black sand beaches on the North Island's west coast offer dramatic scenery and surf. The more sheltered, white sand beaches of the east are ideal for swimming and relaxing. Some New Zealand activities that accentuate the North Island's beaches include a trip to 90 Mile Beach in the Far North, sailing in the Bay of Islands, visiting Piha's surf beach and gannet colony, and soaking at Hot Water Beach in the Coromandel.

Rotorua, in the central North Island, is the hub for volcanic and geothermal adventures. Its landscape features boiling mud pools, steaming lakes and geysers, as well as dormant and active volcanoes that can be explored on organised tours.

The South Island's landscape is dominated by the Southern Alps running down its length. The Alps bisect the island into two distinct zones: the West Coast, covered in lush beech and rainforest, and the more arid East Coast, with high country sheep stations and scenic tussock land.

The South Island's topography makes it the site of classic New Zealand adventures such as glacier hiking, bungy jumping, black water rafting, sea kayaking and world-class tramping/hiking.

Culture

The North Island is the seat of New Zealand's indigenous Maori culture, with Rotorua its cultural epicentre. Here, there are a number of opportunities to participate in traditional Maori customs and to learn their place in modern New Zealand life.

Wellington, New Zealand's capital, is located at the bottom of the North Island. Guided tours of its parliamentary buildings are available. The city is also home to Te Papa, the national museum that is a showcase of New Zealand art and natural history.

The history and culture of the South Island is more characterised by the European settlers who were lured by the opportunity of land ownership and mineral riches. Central Otago and the West Coast have traces of a gold rush that took place in the late 1800s. Both regions have opportunities to learn about this era and to try your hand at finding ‘the colour'.

Flora & Fauna

The North Island's subtropical climate supports a wide range of flora. Northland features some of the few remaining stands of giant kauri trees that once dominated. In the Coromandel, small group tours can take you into remote temperate rainforests where guides educate you on the flora, fauna and history of the region.

The South Island is better known for accessibility to a range of native wildlife. In particular, Kaikoura is a mecca for marinelife encounters, including whales, dolphins, fur seals, albatross and other pelagic species. Dunedin's Otago Peninsula is also home to penguins, royal albatross and sea lions.

Driving

If you intend to self-drive rather than take an organised tour, driving conditions may be a factor in your decision. The comparatively gentle terrain of the North Island means a straightforward driving experience as highways pass through undulating farmland and scenic plateaus.

The South Island's roads are shaped by its dramatic scenery. Two main highways, on either side of the ranges, run its length. ‘Highway' is a term used loosely on the West Coast: one-lane bridges and hairpin switchbacks are common as the road navigates the narrow space between mountain and sea. South Island driving requires full attention; however, the reward is great scenic ‘bang for your buck' in the short time you are there. Alternatively, leave the driving to a New Zealand tour operator while you gawk at the views.

In the end, be comforted by the notion that whichever island you choose, you will find spectacular scenery and experiences that will likely have you saving and planning for a return trip to see the rest.

Apartments in Punta Cana

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

There are a great number of apartments in Punta Cana available for rent and sale to choose from. A few years ago this whole process of buying or renting property in the Dominican Republic was a tough job to take on, but now thanks to plenty of real estate agencies in the country it is one of the easy ways out for investors or holidaymakers alike. Plus, it definitely helps that the government itself is promoting tourism and real estate investment in the country, in addition to immigration and business investments for foreigners. Punta Cana has been in the real estate limelight of the Caribbean for some years now, due to its popularity with the budget as well as leisure tourists, and the availability of direct international flights straight to its shores from all major destinations from around the world.

The city is bustling in peak season and fairly quiet during monsoon, but with recreational activities and numerous amenities from hospitals to restaurants present here, locals, immigrants, retirees, and all the thousands of visitors find it apt for a quick or prolonged stay. Punta Cana and some of the other popular destinations in the Dominican Republic are most treasured by the tourists for their lack of commercialization as compared to the rest of the Caribbean islands. Not any less pleasurable than other parts of the Islands, Punta Cana still boasts of its multicultural charm and friendly atmosphere that is welcoming and hospitable to all regardless of religion, country, or age.

When you plan an investment in this part of the Dominican Republic, the perfect way to go about it is as follows. Firstly, get hold of a good real estate agency. Preferably one that is well reputed, knows its way around the market, has properties that might interest you, and put your list of requisites before their profits from the deal. Secondly, decide on a budget for your investment here. This is vital to the whole process of zeroing in on an ideal apartment. It can be a waste of time to keep looking at properties that are way lower or over your means. And thirdly, select particular areas in the city that you would want to invest in. For example, if you want an apartment by the shore, be sure to let your real estate agency know beforehand.

Buying real estate is a proud experience, especially if you have the right assistance and guidance. Investing your hard earned money in one of the many beautiful apartments in Punta Cana may well be the best investment decision you have ever made.

Finding Civilisation in Crete

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

For travellers looking for a touch of historical tourism, there are few countries that provide this better than Greece. This was one of the first countries to implement democracy and construct buildings with a focus on architecture and fragments of this great era remain scattered throughout the land. The island of Crete provides some fantastic examples of Greece relics and ruins, making it a must on every travelling historian's list.

Knossos was formerly the Minoan capital of Crete and contains buildings dating back to 1900BC. This once fair city has fallen to ruin over the centuries since it was built but still holds some remarkably well preserved landmarks. The ruins of a once immense and beautiful palace complex are the chief attraction to many tourists, as this is said to be where King Minos kept the mythical Minotaur.

The city of Phaistos is also worth a visit – formerly second fiddle to Knossos in their glory days, it still comes second to Knossos in terms of tourist visits. This city is also home to an ancient palace, but is markedly different from Knossos in that this palace was not the first to grace the city's streets. Phaistos' palace was repeatedly felled by earthquakes in the past and rather than rebuild it the locals simply built a new palace on top of the ruins of the old one. The original palace dated back to 2000BC making this an important archaeological dig site.

These are not the only grand Minoan ruin to be found on Crete though. A trip to the town of Kamilari provides a number of archaeological dig sites and also the famous circular Minoan Tomb, which can be found on the side of a low hill near the sea. This tomb was built in 1900 BC and is remarkably well preserved.

Stepping away from the Minoans, Koules Venetian Fortress, or Rocca al Mare, is definitely worth a look in. Built during the 16th century, this fortress still dominates the Old Harbour. Built during the island's Venetian rule, the fortress was used to defend the island from the invasion attempts of the Turks, before becoming a prison for rebelling Cretans in its later life. The fortress contains a number of carefully restored rooms and chambers, a museum and an art gallery.

Ancient Lato is one of the few ruined cities on the island that has nothing to do with the Minoans. Dating back to the 7th century BC, the city was built by the Dorians. This city was massive in its heyday, built almost into the side of an island and enjoying beautiful mountain views across the Gulf of Mirabello. The Temple of Apollo is not to be missed

There are many stunning hotels on Crete and flights are fairly inexpensive, so check it out!

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

So you want to propose to your special girl? Well, this is a very important time, so making it perfect is essential. Here are three places to propose in one of the greatest cities in the world. Take her to Europe, and propose in one of these romantic places in Rome.

Spanish Steps in the morning

The Spanish Steps are probably one of the most picturesque locations in the world. Tourists flock to see this beautiful site. These stairs overlook a lovely fountain. In warmer weather, the entirety of the steps is decorated with lovely pink flowers going all the way up. This makes it even more beautiful.

Here's a tip: make sure you take her here to propose at this location early in the morning in order to have a little bit of quiet and solitude. Once afternoon hits, this location will be noisy and bustling with people, which often make it a little unpleasant, unless you want to get down on one knee in front of a large amount of people.

Roseto Comunale

The Roseto Comunale giant park is the public rose garden in Rome. This location is simply beautiful, and there is no other way to put it. This area is filled to the brim with beautiful roses of all different colors and sizes. Beautiful paths are cut all around this lovely place, and some are even covered with fixtures lined with - guess what - more roses.

Here's a tip: Take her here in the daytime when she can see all of these beautiful flowers. And, of course, make sure it is in the warm weather when the roses are blooming. If you are visiting winter, you may want to choose a different place to propose in Rome.

Piazza Navona

The Piazza Navona is one of the most breathtaking locations in Rome. It is no wonder countless couples of both Romans and tourists can be seen all over this lovely area. The beautiful art and architecture all over this beautiful area provides for many wonderful backdrops to propose. One of the best is in front of the gigantic Bernini fountain sculpture that has the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj directly behind it.

Here's a tip: Go here at night or in the evening. The fountain is lit up after sundown, providing a whole new level of breathtaking beauty.

There are countless incredibly romantic places in Rome where you can propose to that special girl. These three are the most common places to propose in Rome. Whatever you decide, take care to make sure the moment is perfect. And good luck!

Dubai Hotels - Where To Stay?

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

It is the only place that still has some of the relics of the classic Arabian age remaining in place. You can find the sand-colored wind towers from that time only in Dubai, and nowhere else in the Arab peninsula. These wind towers are a reminder of the seafaring heritage of Dubai, being a major port of trade long before the Middle East was ever embroiled in international politics and business.

Now, are you planning to go to Dubai for a visit? You should definitely visit Dubai. Off course, first consideration is finding which of the hotels in Dubai city that you think you should stay in. Flights to Dubai are quite easy to land in but how about Dubai City hotels? Here is one hotel that you should think about when you're organizing Dubai City holidays.
* Mina A' Salam Jumeirah: We mentioned wind towers right? The Mina A Salam Jumeirah hotel is the best place to check yourself in if you're curious about those towers: it's basically a nod to those towers, which still stand in some place of Dubai. You'd also love the fact that this hotel sits right in front of the Arabian Gulf. This means that day or night, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Gulf right in front of your room. Makes for a good picture to take back home, doesn't it?

The Mina A Salam Jumeirah will give an unforgettable experience aside from the Arabian Gulf when you visit Dubai and book a room there. Even the most basic room has what they call the "walk-in rainfall shower." This is not something you'll find in every hotel, and is testament to the high class that accommodation at the Mina A Salam Jumeirah can give you.

The hotel also offers a lot of fun activities for the family on Dubai City holidays. Booking at the rooms come with either free or complimentary passes (depending on the room type), to the Wild Wadi Water Park. This water park is located close to the hotel, so you can access it within virtually minutes from stepping out of the hotel door. The Wild Wadi Water Park has a lot of attractions that you could enjoy, and is the most famous attraction in Dubai.

Staying at the Mina A Salam Jumeirah is an investment that you should make at least for once in your lifetime. In exchange for your money, you get to enjoy excellent accommodation, great scenery and a lot of fun things to do while on holiday.

Can you really take the kids with you on business travel

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

In todays busy world, work never really stops. Armed with our tablets and smart phones, we are now connected by the Internet at all times, which means that we often find ourselves working off the clock, just because we can. We are also easily connected by thousands of airline flights to anywhere in the world, which means that business travel becomes a part of just about any job you take. The upside of this is that you are now free to make more money to support your family. The downside is that you might not see your family as often.

This is why many companies are considering the possibility of allowing family to travel with you for your business trips. Wouldnt it be nice to know that your entire family could travel along with you across the country or even to other nations? You could still continue to share quality time with your children after you return to your hotel at night and provide companionship to your spouse. It is a wonderful prospect, and one you might consider requiring when you plan to start a new position or ask for increased benefits at your current job.
This trend is also happening in the incentive travel industry, as employers are now seek to add family travel as an incentive that employees can earn. Many employers report this actually increases motivation and success.

Childcare concerns a thing of the past

These days, when you take your children along with you, you need not worry about. In many hotels around the world, there are childcare services included with your room rate. If it is not included, the childcare would then be a part of your travel expenses.

It is also possible to find meeting planning specialists who can help arrange things like youth tours or other sightseeing events that will allow your children to get outside of the hotel environment and enjoy the area you are visiting on work. These types of enrichment activities can provide lasting memories and a great experience everyone will remember.

Either of these options will leave you the time you need to take care of your business responsibilities during the day so that you can spend more time with your family at night. Your children and spouse would be able to enjoy the amenities of the hotel and city during your absence, which takes the sting out of losing you to a business trip.

In addition to these many perks, your children would also get the chance to see the world at a young age. Imagine if your job took you to England or Japan! Their world education would be much more advanced than other children their age. They could learn about world history from the source instead of reading it in a book, and their geography lessons would always be more hands on. It truly is a wonderful benefit for those who must travel a great deal for work. If you dont travel much at all, even the few trips you take would be a benefit to your family.

Holiday Spots for History Buffs

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

Travelling means many different things to different people: for some it is about getting some time away from it all, others like to get some adrenalin and push their limits, while some just want to chill out on the beach. Others want to see as much history as possible when they travel. If you are amongst this latter group, here are three places that are well worth checking out.

Greece is an amazing place for people who love history. This part of the world was home to some of the most influential thinkers of the past, and the influence of Ancient Greece stretches to this day. To start off your trip you should head straight to Athens, the home of the ancient city state that has left such a huge mark upon the world. Check out the Acropolis and the many other fantastic historic spots, and transport yourself back to a far-away time. The rest of Greece is similarly packed with history so you can have a great time outside of Athens.

In a similar vein, history buffs need to visit Rome. This huge city has played a similar role to Athens, yet it stood at the centre of one of the world's greatest empires. There are too many incredible historical places to visit, and you will struggle to see them all. Check out the Coliseum, the catacombs, the Sistine Chapel and Palatine Hill to get a sense of this city which still holds so many vestiges of its former imperial glory.

Washington, DC is the best place to go for people interested in America. This country has exerted such a huge influence over the modern era, and a trip to its capital is essential for any student of contemporary politics. There are many different museums and monuments around: check out the Vietnam War Memorial, the Smithsonian, the Library of Congress, the Lincoln Memorial and the National Air and Space Museum. All these places are a great way to get acquainted with American culture. Also be sure to see the capital buildings and the White House.

Click here to look into flights to Greece, or log on to a travel website to see how best to get to Rome and Washington. These three destinations are all fascinating places for people interested in history – they are especially good if you have children and want to acquaint them with the places that they have read about in school. Travel is a great educational tool, and you can certainly inspire interest in history by taking them to one of these three great spots.

Travelling in Oman

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

The world is getting smaller everyday, thanks to awesome modes of communication and cheap and efficient travel options. Exquisite countries like Oman in the Middle East used to seem a world away, but today they are reachable by just hopping on a plane destined for one of the many airports in the country. But while traveling to any part of the world has been pretty simplified lately, traveling in Oman has to be planned ahead of time. This may not seem that important to the shoestring traveler, but to the average adventurer or family vacationer this is the most vital part of enjoying a hassle free holiday experience.

Traveling in and around any foreign country can seem like a bit of a challenge for even the most avid traveler, but the Internet has made things a lot easier. There are plenty of travel agencies with comprehensive websites that can not only help you plan your travel from the time you land until you board your plane back to your home country, but also assist you into choosing what places to go, sights to see and things to do while on your visit. While you can comfortably commute in Oman by using the public transport, the best way to explore this magnificent land is by car. There are three ways to go about this. You could either book your preferred vehicle online before you land in Oman, let your travel agency know of your car rental needs and have them take care of it, or give your travel agency the list of destinations you are interested in going to and let them arrange for a chauffeured car for those days.

Most well reputed travel agencies have tours to different parts of the country according to the regions like Northern Oman with Muscat, Bahla, Buraimi, Hajar Mountains, Musandam Peninsula, Muttrah, and Sohar, Central Coastal Oman with Sur, Masirah Island, Ibra, and the Wahiba Sands, etc. Another way of exploring Oman is by visiting prominent cities and the close sightseeing places like Muscat, Bahla, Ibra, Buraimi, Muttrah, Nizwa, Salalah, Sohar, and Sur. Some like activity specific tours, such as desert safari, water sports activities, tours to the World Heritage Sights, etc. You can choose the tours that interest you. You can also ask your travel agency for tailor made tours that include your places of interest.

Spending Christmas in Germany

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

If you were asked to think about what countries you would associate with Christmas, your mind would probably turn to Lapland and its reindeer or even straight to the North Pole where Santa's fabled workshop is so often said to be. Germany is probably not among the countries you would imagine had much to do with the holiday season, but Germany has always been a country that revelled in the Christmas holidays and there are few places better in the world in which to enjoy the festive period.

The German people love Christmas and the season starts early for them – from December 5th! This is when children leave their shoes or boots outside the front door so that Santa Claus, known as Nikolaus in Germany, can fill them with small treats. This is just one of many traditions that the Germans observe throughout Christmas and for visiting families it's a great opportunity to teach kids about German culture through gift giving.

Another Christmas must-see in Germany is the Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt, or Christmas market, which is one of the most popular Christmas markets in the world and quite possibly the oldest too. The origins of the market date back to the mid-16th century and the modern day market retains many of the medieval charms of the original market. The market is known for the quality and diversity of the goods on offer and it's possible to pick up many high quality handcrafted gifts here. You can even pick up some ornaments for your Christmas tree in the country where the Christmas tree tradition began – that's right, Germany is where the first tree was trimmed in the 18th century. There's also plenty here to do with kids as the whole city comes alive with Christmas festivities: plays, concerts and parades are performed regularly and carols are sung throughout the day. Children can also enjoy a ride on one of the city's many historic carousels while the adults warm up with a delicious spiced wine.

A visit to Germany during the festive season is also a great time to see Germany's castles looking their best – set to a backdrop of snow, pine trees and icicles, these ancient buildings look like something straight off of a Christmas card. Neuschwanstein castle in Bavaria is one of the most famous castles in the world – inspired by the music of Wagner, this castle was built purely for pleasure by King Ludwig II and its beautiful ornate turrets and Gothic design are a sight for sore eyes.

When I walk into a hotel room the first thing I do is

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

You might not realise it, but most people have a routine when they walk into a hotel room for the first time. You might go straight to the mini bar. Maybe you check out the shampoo and conditioner; maybe it's the pillows. Either way, entering a hotel room is a moment where you can leave whatever has happened in the day behind you. But part of acclimatising yourself to your new surrounds means having a bit of a sticky beak.

Even if you've never thought of it before, here are the most common ‘initial investigative' actions:

• Open all the cupboards: If you've found yourself doing this, you'll realise you don't know what you're searching for but at least looking inside each empty space gives you a sense that it's your area for the duration of your stay. Maybe you're just after the complimentary slippers or the comfy robe!

• Look for the mini bar: Whether or not you plan on eating or drinking anything from the mini bar it's nice to know you've got ‘options'.
• Open the curtain and look out the window: Being a ‘rip open the curtains and let the light shine in type of person' could say something about your personality and attitude towards life. But without reading too far into it, peering out the window to see what lies beyond is a subtle reminder that even from the haven of your hotel, life ticks on.

• Flop on the bed and stay there: Sleeping in a hotel bed is a treat. We're talking hotel sheets, no making of bed in the morning and more pillows that you can usually poke a stick at. If you're an initial flop on the bed investigator you'll probably soon find yourself sinking back into a sea of pillows, never wanting to move.

• Leave the room and explore the rest of the hotel: If opening the windows suggests something about your attitude to life then leaving immediately to see what the hotel has to offer beyond the room is the sign of a true adventurer. Where's the pool? Is there a sauna? Can I work out in the gym? While it might take some a good few hours, days or never at all, you've got your cossie on and it all sussed within minutes. To take that to a new level, you might also leave the room directly to explore the surrounding area. If you're staying in a cool part of town, this could be one of the best options yet. While the CBD is close and convenient for anything business related, staying a stone's throw from the action has its rewards. Still an easy distance from the bustle, there are great hotels in Sydney that offer good alternative hotel location options like Paddington, Darlinghurst and Surry Hills. Hotels in these areas will give you access to a more cultured experience of the city.

Like Finding a Needle in a Haystack, You'll be Elated once you have Spotted the Irrawaddy Dolphin

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

The warm weather, the thick jungle, the smooth sounds of the flowing river; there's no denying the natural wonder of Southeast Asia. Straddling along the equator sure helps with the region's tropical feel and wonder. And within this vast rural jungle land are some hidden and rare gems that are unique to the region. And sometimes, these gems can be animals. Ever heard of the Irrawaddy Dolphin? Not many are left in the world, but you can be one of the few to say that you have seen one.
First, let's get to know these guys a little bit. These so-called river dolphins (we'll explain later) are named after the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar. However, its range extends beyond there, with reported sightings in the Indian Ganges, the Bay of Bengal, the Philippines and the Mekong throughout Southeast Asia. Yes, the dolphins have been seen in rivers, but it is in fact not quite a river marine animal. It resides in brackish waters (meaning water with higher salt levels than fresh water but not as much as ocean water) near coastlines, river mouths and in estuaries. It is even seen swimming in sea water.
So, why are they rare? First, their count is pretty low. There are estimated to be around 6000 left in the wild. Secondly, it has to do with the waters they live in. Yes, they are brackish, but they are also quite murky making it difficult to spot one. You can only really see it if they come up to the surface for air. And even then, the sly animal would not make it too obvious, only revealing a small part of its back when breathing. Talk about being shy!
And now comes the million dollar question. Where are the best places to see the Irrawaddy Dolphin?
Irrawaddy River, Myanmar – The mammal's naming after the river makes it the most obvious choice to spot the elusive animals. Your best bet is to go towards sea. The closer the better (as the river water near the ocean matches the previous description about their habitat).Kratie, Cambodia – This Mekong Riverside town is another great place to be if you want to catch these rare marine mammals. The best time to try to catch time is during the late afternoon.Songkla Lake, Thailand – The lake in Southern Thailand is home to some, but few. Many here are endangered due to the fishing activities in the area.Mahakam River, Indonesia – The river is located in East Kalimantan, on the island of Borneo. The provincial capital Samarinda is on the riverbank. Again, the closer you get to the ocean, the better your chances of seeing them are.
So, if you are out on these expeditions, make sure your camera is ready at all times. You just never know when these cunning animals are sneaking up from behind and quietly surfacing up for air.
So, why not cruise along the Mekong in Cambodia in hopes of finding one? Or perhaps an expedition along the Irrawaddy from Bagan to Mandalay is more to your liking? Either way, your chance of spotting these guys have increased greatly by just being on these bodies of water.

If yes, you will be more than happy after going through this article. Oman is a beautiful country, full of natural marvels and modern amenities, and so the only best way to truly relish the adventure and excitement of exploring the Sultanate is by renting a car. Well, if you are just going to visit one province of this wide spread country, you could consider the excellent public transportation provided here, but if you are going to be visiting for a prolonged period of time, your best option is to go in for a long term car hire in Oman.

There are many national and international car rental companies having their presence at various locations across the country. However, if you fly in at the Muscat International Airport, this whole process may take you less than half an hour because many car hire service providers have their kiosks right at the airport. In case you are going to be in a hurry or are too tired to wait and handle this just after you land from a long flight, you could even book the car of your choice well in advance through the Internet. Car rental company websites are pretty comprehensive and provide all the information you may need to book a car for as long as you may like, in a matter of just a few minutes.

In addition to giving you the advantage of choosing the perfect car for your holiday or business travel undertakings, some of the reputed car hire company sites also offer some great deals and discounts on booking the car online. If you have some reservations about traffic rules, routes, other hand drive cars, or the stress of driving on the opposite side of the road, most car rental companies can provide a chauffeur for your convenience at some extra charge. You can put in a request for a chauffeur who speaks a common language so as to ease communication between you and the driver. If you see driving in a foreign land as an adventure and a challenge you are ready to take on, you can get a car with GPS navigation to ensure some fun without losing your way.

Long term car hire in Oman is a great way to see some amazing sights while saving a considerable amount of money, which you would otherwise be wasting on taxi fares or airplane tickets. Moreover, the fuel prices in the country are unbelievably cheap.

Getting Around in the United States

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

The United States is understandably on the top of many people's list when it comes to travel. Not only is the country full of famous cities like New York, Washington and San Francisco, it is also full of incredible scenery that will really take your breath away. To fully make the most of this country you need to be able to get around, here is a look at the main modes of transportation in the United States.

In most countries, tourists can rely on public transportation to help them get from one place to another. This is particularly true in Europe where highly developed rail systems help tourist efficiently get around. Sadly, this is not the case in the United States as there is very little in the way of public transport. Train lines are few and far between and the bus system can be torturous; indeed, you may well get stuck on a milk run which will take you to innumerable small town before finally depositing you in your destination, only after unnecessary hours waiting in empty bus stations. Public transport is also thin on the ground in cities, and you may have to look into other means of transport.

The best way for tourists to get around is by car. America is a country which has long had a love affair with the open road, and it is the truest way to see the country. As you drive from state to state you will get to see the real side of America, and get a glimpse of the countryside. Indeed, if you drive through Arizona or the north west you will be in for a real treat as the scenery is absolutely stunning. Fuel prices are generally quite low in the States, so this is actually quite an affordable means of transport. You can rent a car, or buy a cheap one which you can sell off later.

Driving is a lot of fun, yet it can be quite impractical for people on tight schedules. Indeed, this is a huge country and it takes a long time to cross on four wheels. So you can grab cheap flights to jump from one city to the next – the country has a very developed network of airports and you are sure to be able to find a flight that suits you. Click here to find flights to Orlando and other US cities.

So if you travel to the states, it is best to stick to the road or the air – public transport is unlikely to get you anywhere.

Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

As per the Hindu mythology and the Hindu scriptures, there are 4 holy centers which are Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. They are collectively known as the Char Dham. We also call them the 4 sacred spots of worship. They are above all and the most sacred places of pilgrimages. It is generally believed and is true that if you will journey to all these 4 places in your life, it will wash away all your sins and you will surely be released from the cycle of birth as well as death. It is the truth of life that can not be denied and ignored. The Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand is just amazing.

All these Char Dham are present in the icy Garhwal ranges and they are also termed as the most sacred ranges of the Himalayas. Moreover, it is also said that both the earth and the heaven converge all together in these holy spots. People believe that an individual who born or die here is very lucky and it is a like a blessing for an individual. You must visit these 4 holy places from left towards right in terms of their locations that is to start from Yamunotri, then go to Gangotri, after that visit Kedarnath and culminate your journey at Badrinath. Well, this defined route is followed as per the Hindu tradition of making parikrama that means to make clockwise circumambulate.

Are you interested to know more about the Char Dham Yatra Uttarakhand? These 4 holy places are always open for the general public from the very initial week of the month May till the month of November as per the weather situations. Moreover, these 4 shrines are closed in heavy snowfalls from the month of December to the month of April. Thus, make your plan carefully and thoughtfully.

Yamunotri is the source of River Yamuna which is located at an altitude of over 3293m above sea level in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. It is situated in close proximity with the Indo-China border. You will have to walk 6km from Hanuman Chatti and then walk 4km from Janki Chatti to reach Yamunotri. Next, we have Gangotri pilgrimage which is located at a height of 3,048mts above sea level again in the Uttarkashi district of state Uttarakhand. It is located at the banks of the river Bhagirathi. There is a natural rock which is submerged in the river and can be seen when winters are on their way. This is because in winters the water level decreases. This rock is Shivling, the Hindu god.

Kedarnath is the third pilgrimage. This is the third holy place of Uttarakhand which is situated at the height of 3584m above sea level close to the Mandakini River. The Kedarnath temple is situated amidst the beautiful as well as majestic snow-capped Himalayan ranges. It is open from the end of April month till the starting of the November. It is also one amongst the 12 Jyotirlingas of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Badrinath is the fourth and most imperative Dham of the Char Dham Yatra Uttarakhand. This town is located at an altitude of 3,133mts above sea level. It is situated on the left bank of the river Alakananda. The Badrinath temple is devoted to Lord Vishnu, 15 idols are present in this temple in black stone.

Have a Mammoth Lakes Vacation, Winter or Summer

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

Three items for thought: hotels,  Mammoth Lakes, California. In the Golden State, one of the best places to go for an adventurous sightseeing experience is Mammoth Lakes. And, this time of year, it's one of the most beautiful places to go visit. Also, you don't have to camp out if you don't want to; nice hotels are available for you and your crew. Go there if you need a change of scenery. Or, go there when you're fed up with the heat that's coming not just from the sun above, but from the concrete below. This resort area offers the trophies of a comfortable and natural bliss. That's bliss as in, Mammoth can transform the dog days of a Southern California August into a paradisiacal summer environ, where seeing the mercury rise to only 69°F is not uncommon. Oh, yeah, and there's the smell of pine and wildflower meadows and fresh mountain air.

Despite its renown as a winter resort, there's hardly a better place for warm-weather adventuring. That's why a Mammoth  vacation is not something to miss out on, especially if you already live inside the state. Mammoth Lakes is in California's Mono County, which is at the easternmost part of the state's middle; the county shares a border with Nevada. For state-coasters, that means that it's about a five-hour drive from Los Angeles, and a six-hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Anyone who's made the trip there during either the summer or winter will be willing to recount of the astonishing beauty of the natural area and famous ski  resort. California residents, of course, are not the only ones to make use of the area's ski lifts and panoramic gondolas. Those whose commute to Mono County is too extended to get through on car (or those whose cars are unwilling to admit a single ski on board) have other options. Visitors flying domestically can take a charter plane to Mammoth Lakes Airport; international tourists must make a first stop at the Reno-Tahoe Airport. Once at the resort, twenty-eight lifts and three panoramic gondolas await, which all together are more than enough daring ammunition to get mammoth  California adventure started.

Lap up the Luxury in Kuala Lumpur

Posted by Teguh - - 0 comments

Kuala Lumpur, or simply KL to its friends, used to be nothing more than a small, mucky Chinese tin-mining village and with a name that literally means "muddy estuary" it's hard to imagine this town becoming to bustling metropolis it is today. The city has come on leaps and bounds since Malaysia gained independence in 1957 and named KL its capital, becoming increasingly advanced and offering some of the finest five-star amenities around.

Although Kuala Lumpur is a huge city that sprawls out so far as to merge into other nearby cities, it's the centre of the city where you'll find KL's true heart. The city centre itself is the former colonial administrative district and is where the city was actually founded. Although the deep centre of KL isn't its shining gem, it's where you'll find some of the city's most interesting eateries and also some of the cheapest.

For a taste of Kuala Lumpur's luxurious side, travellers should make their way to The Golden Triangle district. This "triangle" covers the area north of Jalan Pudu and is the centre for Kuala Lumpur's shopping and nightlife district. This is also where you'll find the Petronas Twin Towers, which were formerly the world's tallest buildings: although they may recently have been surpassed in height, few can exceed the towers in style! The Petronas Twin Towers stand guard over this lively and colourful quarter and its host of fancy restaurants, designer shops, high class bars and five-star hotels. The hotels have become one of KL's major selling points and there are several hotels that will compete for your business along the Jalan Sultan Ismali five-star hotel strip. Few can compete with the grandeur Hotel Ascott, Hotel Crown Princess or the Hotel Palace of the Golden Horses, but there are many other five-star hotels offering first class service to both business and leisure customers.

Kuala Lumpur has a wealth of amazing shopping opportunities and the best are to be found in Bukit Bintang in the Golden Triangle. Bukit Bintang is home to many of the city's most well-known shopping malls and complexes including the popular Suira KLCC, a massive shopping mall located beneath the Petronas Twin Towers. This high-end shopping centre is fit to burst with designer stores and brands and is not to be missed. This isn't the only luxury shopping mall that Kuala Lumpur has to offer though, with the fabulous Starhill Gallery ready to rival Suira KLCC in luxury and KL's latest offering, the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, promising shoppers a choice from over 450 different stores.
